The society has completed a project to digitize all existing copies
of the newspaper "The Russiaville Observer" which was published
locally from the 1880's through the late 1960's.

We have published a 130 page book of photos and stories collected from local residents that experienced the 1965 Palm Sunday Tornado. The book is available for purchase through our online order form, or may be picked up at Martin's Pro Hardware store in Russiaville.
We know there are more photos and stories available and if enough material is donated we will publish a second volume in the future. Please email your story to marsha@russiavillehistory.org. Indicate in the subject line "Palm Sunday Tornado Story".
