Russiaville Historical Society was established in 2002 by a group of community members that were interested in passing along local history to the next generations. Since its inception, the Society has published several soft-cover books on local history, saved copies of the local historic newspaper, the Russiaville Observer, in digital format and is now engaged in preserving the historic interurban station.

Honor your heritage with a legacy window
As part of the restoration process the windows were either replaced or restored. The Howard County Commissioners donated $15,000 to have the east bank of windows replaced. We are looking for families or groups with ties to the community that would adopt the remaining windows. The average donation is $1500. Decorative plaques will display the memorial information.
